About the Owner

My name is Irelise Font, and I am the founder of Sofa Bookkeeping. With over 15 years of professional bookkeeping and financial experience, I’m passionate about helping business owners and real estate investors reach their full potential by giving them the financial clarity they need to grow.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Finance — a powerful combination that allows me to bring both technical precision and strong financial insight to every client I work with. This background creates the perfect foundation for delivering modern, efficient, and reliable virtual bookkeeping services.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a Finance Consultant, implementing ERP financial systems, and as an Accounting Manager across multiple organizations. These roles strengthened my expertise, but more importantly, they revealed my true passion: working with numbers and supporting entrepreneurs in building successful, sustainable businesses.
